GOB

A GOB (Glue on Board) LED module is an LED display where a transparent, protective epoxy or silicone resin is applied to cover the surface of the LED chips and circuit board, providing enhanced durability, waterproof, dustproof, and anti-collision features. This "Glue on Board" technique creates a tough shield, improving reliability and offering better protection for the delicate LED components compared to traditional SMD (Surface Mounted Device) modules. While offering superior protection, the GOB process adds cost and can complicate repairs, but it is ideal for fine-pitch, rental, and outdoor displays where robust protection is essential.
